East Orange General Hospital elects physician leaders to Medical Executive Committee including Dr. Padmaja Kodali as President
(March 28, 2018) — East Orange General Hospital recently announced the election of Padmaja Kodali, MD, who specializes in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, as President of the Medical Executive Committee, where she is joined by several other distinguished physician leaders. The Medical Executive Committee is the primary governance committee for the medical staff, impacting medical policies, procedures, and rules. Several Board Members At Large were also elected.

The elected officers of the Medical Executive Committee are: Padmaja Kodali, MD, President; Elizabeth Mammen-Prasad, MD, President-Elect; Rajendra Desai, MD, Immediate Past President; and Adeniyi Ogunkoya, MD, Secretary Treasurer.
The elected Board Members at Large are Andrew Baddoo, MD, Samuel Banigo, MD, Kyu Chae, MD, Odler Jeanlouie, MD, Nabeel Obaid, MD, Norma Rae, MD, and Jaime Soriano, MD.
New Department chairpersons were also announced: Jonathan Markley, MD, Anesthesia, Schubert Perotte, MD, Emergency medicine, Jackson Okoya, MD, Medicine, Seena Aisner, MD, Pathology, Ambrose Mgbako, MD Psychiatry, Faisal Shah, MD, Diagnostic Imaging, and Lennox Alves, MD, Surgery.
