Many people have wounds that just won’t heal. Every year, chronic wounds caused
by diabetes, poor circulation, and other conditions prevent people from doing the
things they love. The Wound Care Center at East Orange General Hospital can help.
Located in the Medical Art Building, the Wound Care Center offers each patient an
individualized wound treatment plan depending on the type and severity of their
wound. Wound treatment can include removal of unhealthy tissue, the use of growth
factors or high pressure oxygen therapy in a state-of-the-art Hyperbaric Chamber.
A compassionate and experienced team of dedicated physicians, nurses and support
staff works with each patient to provide the best possible care and improve the
quality of life.
Hours of Operations:
Our Wound Care Center operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.,
all year round including holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas
and New Years Day. Depending on the needs of the patients, we have extended hours
on an as needed basis.
