The Telemetry Unit/Intermediate Care Unit is a 30-bed unit cares for a variety of
patients primarily with acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, pneumonia
and/or for patients requiring more intensive nursing care than is available in med/surg
telemetry. With specialty skilled nurses and technicians, patient's heart rates
and rhythms are monitored 24-hours a day. Additionally, this unit provides care
for those patients who require long-term assisted life support and intermediate
care for patients requiring additional close observation.
Hours of Operations:
Located on 5 West of the main hospital building, this unit operates 24 hours a day,
7 days a week all year round including holidays.
