The Physical Rehabilitation Services staff works closely with in-patients and out-patients from adolescences to seniors helping them regain what they can to resume an active daily living. The team is composed of specialists who focus on the patient’s potential, not limitations, and offer a progressive approach that addresses the physical, medical, and environmental needs for the patient on a case by case basis.

This unit is a self-contained unit located on the 1st floor within East Orange General Hospital; therefore, allowing easy access to all the support services that the hospital provides.

Each patient’s rehabilitation program is designed individually for the patient’s needs and is provided in the Physical Rehabilitation Services own gym. The unit helps each patient to reach his or her maximum functioning capacity before being discharged.
