EOGH has been informed that there is a statewide alert about the Swine Flu. The following are precautionary measures that we ask all of our employees to practice:

  • Continue to practice standard precautions at all times.
  • Practice proper cough etiquette by coughing or sneezing into your upper arm.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue and discard in the trash after use.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze and always before eating. Alcohol based hand cleansers are also effective.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.

If you exhibit the following symptoms do not report to the worksite. Contact your immediate manager and personal medical physician for further instructions.

Symptoms of the Swine Flu
  • Sore throat
  • Coughing
  • Runny nose
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Lethargy
  • Body aches
  • Fever
  • Loss of appetite
  • Severe Headaches
