The Cardiology Department provides services for the diagnosis and monitoring of heart disease, on both an inpatient and an outpatient basis. The department's Cardiology Laboratory is equipped with the latest medical technology.

All of these tests are considered "non-invasive," which means that no surgery is performed and no catheters (tubes) are introduced into the veins. Rather, heart specialists use electrodes (patches) and probes on the skin to collect and to evaluate data about the condition and functioning of the heart.

The variety of cardiac services includes:

  • Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
  • Stress Testing
  • Echocardiograms
  • Electrocardiogram (EKGs)
  • Electroencephalogram (EEGs)
  • Holter Monitoring
